Suburban Automotive Services (SAS) is seeking a skilled and dependable Over-the-Road CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles across the United States for shows, events, and international displays. This position involves operating a variety of tractor/trailer combinations including semis, dually trucks, two-car trailers, enclosed trailers, and 6-car haulers. While occasional local routes may occur, the role is primarily focused on long-haul assignments with frequent overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate multiple truck/trailer combinations for national vehicle transportation.
• Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles for delivery to event sites.
• Travel extensively across multiple states, often for extended periods and overnight stays.
• Represent SAS professionally when interacting with event teams, clients, and site technicians.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding schedules, delays, and vehicle status.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and weather-related driving considerations.
• Embody and uphold the values and standards of Suburban Automotive Services on every route.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Minimum of 2 years of Over-the-Road (OTR) driving experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently and for extended durations.
• Ability to adapt to a variable and non-standard schedule based on operational demands.
• Previous car hauling experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with mechanical equipment or trailer setup is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GPS and route planning tools.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a safety-first mindset.
