POSITION SUMMARY

Join the SnowSports School team as a part-time SnowSports Headquarters Front Desk Agent working in our Mountain Camp facility, where you will help our youngest guests (anywhere from 2 to 6 years old) and their families embark on an amazing Steamboat adventure. In this position, you will work closely with SnowSports School guests, supervisors, managers, and instructors. This includes assisting with group lesson bookings, fulfilling private and group lessons, resolving lift ticket issues, and running inventory reports. In addition, HQ agents may complete other project-based work to help boost lesson sales, support special products, and improve guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Sell lessons and resolve lift ticket issues for SnowSports guests in Mountain Camp.
  • Assist our youngest guests and their families with questions regarding bookings and lift tickets.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to lesson guests to ensure that lessons are booked correctly, and payment is collected in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the Central Reservations and Ticket Office teams to answer SnowSports School questions
  • Project based work as assigned, including but not limited to checking lift access for lesson guests, coordinating special group programs, follow-up on overdue lesson payments, and tracking daily inventory numbers.
  • Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous office or customer service experience required
  • Above average computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Previous knowledge of the RTP POS and flaik software preferred but not required.
  • Ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively with constant interruptions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and organization under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, management, and ski school instructors consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work indoors in a noisy office environment and outdoors in a winter environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English in a clear and professional manner.
  • Must be able to sit and operate keyboard for long periods of time, as well as additional office machinery such as phones, copier, and printer.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
