We’re on the hunt for a social-savvy, people-loving storyteller to lead our online and in-person community. If you can turn a retreat into a reel, host a Facebook Live like you're chatting with old friends, and treat our quilting community like family — you might be our person.

This isn’t your average marketing job. This is about sharing joy, sparking connection, and turning fans into lifelong friends — one post, pic, or patchwork at a time.

What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Why You’ll Love This Job)

Social Media Storyteller
You’ll be the digital voice of Stitchin’ Heaven—sharing the magic of quilting through authentic, feel-good content.

• Plan and manage our social calendar across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more
• Create warm, engaging photos, videos, Reels, and Stories that reflect our heart and humor
• Pay attention to what clicks —and what connects—with our audience and adjust accordingly
• Jump into comments and messages like a friendly neighbor, answering questions and building relationships

Content Creator in the Wild
You’ll have a front-row seat to the best moments—and you’ll turn them into beautiful, bite-sized stories.

• Film and edit video content at our retreats, classes, events, and around our quilt shop
• Go live for fun moments—like a fabric haul, a behind-the-scenes class, or even a mid-cruise update
• Capture spontaneous smiles, teary testimonials, and that “just finished my quilt top!” joy

Retreat & Event Marketing Wingwoman (or Wingman)
Your job isn’t just to document—it’s to help make our events unforgettable and fill the next ones.

• Support our retreats with content that promotes, sells, and celebrates
• Interview attendees for candid, heartfelt stories that say what we never could
• Collaborate with our Stitchin’ Stars (our influencer & guest instructor fam) to co-create content

Post-Event Hype Machine
The fun doesn’t end when the cruise docks or the retreat wraps—help us keep the momentum going.

• Collect and share glowing reviews, emotional highlights, and all those “remember when” moments
• Keep the connection alive—encouraging guests to share their stories and come back for more

• A creative spirit who gets how to tell stories that matter
• Comfortable with a smartphone camera, video editing, and social tools
• A warm, people-loving personality—whether you're chatting with guests or replying to comments
• Organized, dependable, and flexible—you can keep your cool in a swirl of fabric and excitement
• Able to be onsite in Quitman, TX as a hands-on part of our fast-growing marketing team
