Shoreline Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic training who wants to grow in the veterinary field.

In this role, you'll help veterinarians and technicians with handling pets during exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You'll also help keep exam and treatment areas clean and ready throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who's a team player, wants to learn new skills, and enjoys helping wherever needed.

This is a full-time position, with a 4-10 hour schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday (with rotating Saturdays).

• Compensation: $18-20 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Patient restraint
  • Medical note taking
  • Client communication
  • Oral medication administration
